Fun and Fast Notes

I would describe this card as simple, but elegant.  I wonder if you can see the glitter on the white embossed paper and the pearl embellishments on the bows ontop the three cakes.   Well, it's there.

The Earth Laughs in Flowers

I didn't actually design this one, I replicated another Stampin' Up! demonstrator's design because I thought it was just gorgeous!  Don't you just love them flowers...

Lizbeth and Steven

My brother asked me to create a card for a wedding that he attended.  I based my design on their invitations and I did my best to imitate the colours they used.  Hopefully, they appreciated the work I put into it.

Happy Father's Day

Another card for a wonderful father.   Let me tell you how I need to purchase more masculine stamps because this is the only other design I could create for Father's Day without a card looking too feminine.

Unionville Festival

I guess I should have mentioned that I had a booth at the Unionville Festival earlier but that's alright...  next year.  Well, it was not as good as I hoped for considering the weather was impeding sales.  We did have wonderful neighbours http://www.hawaiianbarbeque.ca/.  They were a real treat to sell beside and I did manage to sell 21 of my cards leaving me with enough profit to go watch a movie and have a snack of nachos and cheese, and nothing else.  I suppose that's what I'll be doing with the money I made.  Ahaha.  Also, I do claim 34% ownership of a 10x10 feet tent, which I won't need to purchase ever again unless the tent we three ladies own breaks down in the next year.  Hopefully not.  Anyways...  Check out http://www.peppercornandpoppy.com/ and http://www.loveandbeartrap.blogspot.com/.  Thanks ladies for allowing me to join you at the Unionville Festival.

Happy Father's Day!

It's that time of year again.  Another day to show our fathers how much we love them.  So remember to pick up that special card...  from me!  *wink*

Fox and Friends

I love, love, love this stamp set!  It's called Fox and Friends, except I didn't use the fox on this birthday card for kids.  I think the lion and the monkey grab my attention more.  Therefore, I think the stamp set should be called Monkey and Friends.  Although, I do appreciate the use of alliteration.

Wellness Wishes

I think this dog is adorable.  You'll definitely feel better after receiving this cutesy card.

Love

A card for a loved one.  Love travels across oceans and lasts an eternity.  I made this at a Stampin' Up meeting, so I'm not going to take credit for the design but I quite like it.  The sailboat is an extremely well detailed stamp.

With Love

I made this card for whoever likes it.  You can purchase this one of a kind card at the Unionville Festival this June 4th, 2011.  Can't wait to see everyone there!

Mikayo's Baptism

A personalized Baptism card for a super cute baby.  Also, my first and only Baptism card considering I have no real Religious stamp sets as of yet.  I thought I did pretty well for myself and Mikayo.  Happy Baptism!

Happy Parents Day

I made this card for my brother and sis-in-law for her Korean parents, because apparently they do not celebrate Mother's Day and Father's Day.  Interesting...  Eventually, this too will be a part of Canadian tradition I'm sure.  I mean not everyone has a mother and not everyone has a father.  Or maybe, it'll be called Parents/Guardians Day.  Ahaha...  Only time will tell.

Long Fellows

Here's a card I made using Vanilla ribbon, Stampin' Up scrapbook paper, and the Long Fellows stamp set.  I made this for my little sister for her birthday.  Happy Birthday Erica!

For You Flower

This is a Valentine postcard, something I made this year.  It reveals two of my favourite things, a heart and an image of a rose.

Happy 1st Birthday!

I made this personalized card as an order for a friend and loyal customer.  I used Pink Pirouette for the main card, layered with Pretty in Pink and Rose Red and of course, Very Vanilla paper.  I was very pleased with the turn out of this card.  Happy Birthday Chloe!

I {Heart} Hearts

I played around with this stamp set in an attempt to make a nice Valentine's card design and this is what I got.  Some of my friends have already told me how much they like it, so hooray!  I'm on the right Stampin' Up! path, generating some business from family and friends.  So yea, in this design I used Versa Mark ink with the stampin' pastels.  If you would like to know more about what I'm talking about, then book a workshop with me @ samtam.stampinup.net.

Sweet Treat Cups

My first card using the Sweet Treat Cup.  Personally, I can't wait to give this card out, because how often do you get a card with candy in it.  Let me tell you, how the candy tastes even better coming out of a handmade card then a branded bag.  Unfortunately the stamp used does not belong to Stampin' Up! but it fits nicely with the card's theme, so generic stamp it is.

Fun & Fast Notes

One of the stamp sets I got with my demonstrator package was this one.  It comes with 7 other greetings and the details on all of them are simply fabulous!  Also in my demonstrator I was received a standard sized wheel, along with Fast Flowers (which went perfectly with the flower being held by the cute bird up there).  So naturally, I paired the two up and created this simple but fabulous card in Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White cardstock.
